Kate will be fine. She is the intelligent one and can provide for her children. Jon is useless and I cannot believe he actually said he is sad and "excited". What a jerk. He has no clue. He claims he is 32 - well he better start acting it. He wasn't passive, he was stupid. She had to tell him what to do every minute because he has no intelligence to handle 8 kids. So to be a man and not passive he has to go to bars and with girls that are 23. What will he kids think someday??? Kate had to be scheduled regimented and organized. She did an excellent job with her "9" kids. They are kept very clean, fed very well and healthy and she did things with 8 kids that most won't do with 2. Kate can do tours, write books and do lectures. What can Jon do?? Cheat and party because he is 32!! Kate is thinking of the future and working hard making money and raising the kids. Jon doesn't mind spending the money tho on things he likes and wants but he whines he doesn't want to do the show - alittle lazy. He wants to be a part time parent and not work. He wants privacy - wonder why???? As far as exploiting these children - what about the most wholesome shows years ago - Ozzie and Harriet etc. I think this reality show is better for young parents raising children and better than Survivor. Their show taught so much about real life especially now. Their family and so called Aunt Jodi and Kate's brother are still exploiting the children by doing interviews and selling stories to magazines. They enjoyed the money and had their children on the show did they not?? They are just money hungry jealous people and we all have it in our families - unfortunately.
Good Luck Kate and I know they children will be fine with you. I am a single mother of 3 grown children and they turned out great. It is a hard road but it is a worthwhile road. Jon will realize how wrong and foolish he is but it WILL be too late.
