'Cougar Town' on ABC - New TV Pilot Preview

'Cougar Town'

Premise: Recently divorced mom Jules decides to do what every other woman of a certain age is doing -- take up a younger lover -- which embarrasses her son Travis, amuses her slacker ex and gets a thumbs up from her friends.

Cast: Courteney Cox, Josh Hopkins, Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd

What Works: In an ensemble filled with comedy all-stars, Cox makes us remember why she was one of the funniest 'Friends.'

What Doesn't: The physical gags were piled on a bit thick, and it's hard to believe that such a beautiful woman (even one who's "older" and divorced) would be so desperate.
