Lewis Black talks about news crawls and Jesus pancakes

I've never found Lewis Black particularly funny. I mean, he's OK, but I haven't found the greatness that a lot of people have. I like it better when he's being interviewed than when he's on The Daily Show or doing standup, like this appearance on G4's Attack of the Show. He talks about how we don't need news crawls on the news networks (I agree), religion, and his new book. (Video also here.)

I'm pro-crawl. It's not multi-tasking for me because I am not listening to the people on screen.

I was in a hotel a few days ago without my computer. There was nothing on cable news except Michael Jackson, so the crawl was the only way I could learn what else was happening.

That one's been out for months. And it's horrible. I didn't make it past the third page.

He simply tried to hop on the atheist bandwaggon and bored me to death with it.

According to amazon, it came out over a year ago but the paperback came out this month.
