Anderson Cooper knows nothing about sports
This is not a political comment. I repeat: This is not a political comment.
I tire of the teleprompter crap. Bush used a teleprompter for his Oval Office addresses to the Nation. For important speeches in public, he tended to use a 3 ring binder with his speech written out in large print with a few sentences on each page.
Same dang thing.
@Mike
There is the old teleprompter joke. Really? You make some valid points but when you start with the teleprompter it just makes your whole argument look ridiculous. Attack him on his actions, or his broken promises. Making fun of the teleprompter just makes you look like a fool. Please tell me more about how you're still searching for his birth certificate, his love of Dijon mustard, or how he is a secret Muslim.
Hulu sucks for not being global, but i don't blame this blog. The blog should be aware though that it is in fact international, and posting video from a US only site blows.
I love the line, "The world is literally her oyster". Might check the dictionary love.
She's doing what's best for Alaska and the Iraq and such and the Alaskans that don't have maps.
How is it possible that Palin's "spokesperson" is an even worse interviewee than Palin herself? They're both complete buffoons.
We see now, what we get when a good speech reader is elected president.
They can't speek without a writen speech scrolling on a teleprompeter for them.... pretty bad when the VP makes fun of that point too.
They don't remember the promises they read off the speech to get elected....like no new taxes on those making less then $250,000 a year...cept now I might tax your health coverage you get ...unless the coverage was negotiated for a union worker...must keep unions happy.
I would rather have a unpolished speaker then the above any day.
Thank you for hitting on my two pet peeves of comments on the internet lately.
The one where conservatives take any mention of politics or figures to mean that there is an evil political bias.
Or people abroad thinking that a blog is to blame for Hulu not showing internationally.
*sigh*
TVSquad = AOL - AOL = Part of Hulu
By the transitive property this is all very logical so I guess you shouldn't devalue the political discussion argument with your Hulu statement.
It's not that people from abroad make TVS responsible for Hulu not being available there but rather that Hulu was used as the main source for video when only people in the US can watch those, with alternative sources available, and an international reader base. It was just annoying and I'm glad the "video also available here" link is added on almost all pages now.
I mean how pissed would you be if TVS would review the next season of Friday Night Lights while it airs on DirectTV and then link to pages of that network with video on it, only available for people who show valid subscription contracts "at the door".
Which doesn't even touch the whole Torrent problem...
