'Desperate Housewives' brings back Andrea Bowen and promotes Maiara Walsh, 'Camp Rock 2' gets a new writer and director, MacGruber heads to the big screen and more of today's TV headlines.Andrea BowenAndrea Bowen is returning to 'Desperate Housewives.' Bowen, who plays Susan's (Teri Hatcher) daughter, Julie, will appear on the Sept. 27 season premiere after being absent for much of season 5. Insiders also say Bowen will return as a series regular. Maiara WalshMaiara Walsh has been promoted to series regular on 'Desperate Housewives.' Walsh will reprise her role as Ana, Carlos' (Ricardo Chavira) manipulative niece from hell, following a two-episode guest appearance last season. As if Gaby doesn't have enough problems to deal with. Camp Rock'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' will rock out with a new writer and director. The script, which features Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers returning to Camp Rock to battle its rival, Camp Star, was co-written by Dan Berendsen ('Hannah Montana: The Movie'), Karin Gist and Regina Hicks, and will be directed by 'Jump In!''s Paul Hoen. Will Forte'Saturday Night Live''s MacGruber is making its way to the big screen. Val Kilmer and Ryan Phillippe are reportedly in talks to join the film, which currently stars 'SNL' alums Will Forte and Kristin Wiig. Forte will also co-write the script. [Variety]


Adam Rodriguez'CSI: Miami' is about to do some time traveling. The show's eighth season premiere will reportedly be set around Adam Rodriguez's comatose Delko, who revisits his first murder case with the Miami-Dade PD. That should be enough to wake him up. [Ausiello Files]
