TBS Orders 46 More Episodes of 'House of Payne' & More TV News

House of PayneTBS has put an order in for 46 more episodes of Tyler Perry's 'House of Payne,' bringing its grand total to a whopping 176 in just two years.

Also in the news today: T.R. Knight explains his 'Grey's Anatomy' exit, while the Emmy submission tapes get their big reveal.

The move was part of two separate orders of 26 and 20, bringing the show's grand total to a jaw-dropping 172 episodes in just two years. So much for being a 'Payne.' [Hollywood Reporter]

The special two-hour edition, which leads into the season 6 premiere, will feature past 'Runway' favorites like Daniel Vosovic (season 2) and Uli Herzner (season 3), as well as season 3 champ Jeffrey Sebelia. 30 RockEpisode tapes submitted from many of this year's Emmy nominees have been revealed. Among the selected episodes, which are submitted as samples to judges, include 'The Incident, Part 1 and 2' from Best Drama nominee 'Lost,' as well as 'Believe in the Stars' and 'Reunion' from '30 Rock.' Brothers & SistersABC has announced premiere dates for three of its upcoming shows. The new auto series 'Crash Course' will premiere Aug. 26 at 9PM, while the Rebecca Romijn vehicle 'Eastwick' will cast a spell on Sept. 23 at 10PM. Ugly BettyThe TV Guide Network has acquired the off-network rights to ABC's 'Ugly Betty.' Replay episodes of the show's upcoming fourth season will begin two weeks following its Oct. 9 premiere. Then in 2010, the network will begin airing nightly reruns of the Emmy-winning comedy series, said to include episodes from every season. [Variety].
