I wondered why Wyatt was so silent at the beginning of his interviews until I realized he gave them enough rope to hang themselves. Why did the PMF guy continue to analogize himself with JR while claiming he did not know what JR did? That's like Palin maintaining her leadership correlation. If you're on the Daily Show or talking to someone about something related to their history, more directly, let alone both, and the person calls you on it, backing down might be best. Sometimes, I tend to feel sorry for people who deal with DS correspondents (including Colbert's 1-1 interviews), but in this case I didn't. I wasn't crazy about the new correspondents, but in the past 2 weeks they've definitely brought their A-game. Of course, when I start like a correspondent they get their own cable show (SC) or network show (Oliver). Here's hoping they continue to bring it without leaving -
