Spoilers Anonymous

by Isabelle Carreau, posted Jul 24th 2009 5:37PM

This is Spoilers Anonymous, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air. We'll never put spoilers up here on the main page in order to help the reformed stay unspoiled. If you have anything to add to the group, feel free to step up and let yourself be heard, either with our tips form or by emailing us at tvsquad at gmail dot com, or call and leave a message at (775) 640-8479. Your anonymity is guaranteed, if you wish to remain as such.

Note that over the summer, Spoilers Anonymous will be published every two weeks due to production hiatus for most TV series. Weekly columns will resume in August.

This week we have spoilers for: 90210, Brothers & Sisters, CSI: Miami, Desperate Housewives, One Tree Hill, Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory and The Mentalist. (SPOILERS FOLLOW!)

90210
  • Liam's mother, Maureen, will be introduced in the second episode as well as their maid, 30-year-old Latina Raquel. Jen has a talk with Maureen about all the wrongs Liam did to Naomi in the past weeks/months. As expected, Liam is pissed that Jen still plays games and is not truthful. Of course, Maureen sides with Jen and doesn't let Liam tell his side of the story. The ladies both agree that Liam is to stay away from Naomi. [Source: TV Squad]
  • Dixon will flirt with a professional DJ named Sasha. John Schneider will recur throughout the season as Liam's jackass of a stepfather. [Source: Watch with Kristin]
  • Dixon will confront Silver about the kiss she shared with Ethan. Annie will get very close to the nephew of the man she supposedly killed in the finale car crash. [Source: Korbi TV]
Brothers & Sisters
  • Scotty and Kevin will try to have a baby. Nora's mom will drop by, which can only cause drama. [Source: Watch with Kristin]
CSI: Miami
  • In the previous edition of Spoilers Anonymous, we let you know that the season premiere would feature flashback sequences set in 1997. Turns out that new cast member Eddie Cibrian will be part of these falshbacks as he crossed paths with some of the characters back in 1997. Back in the present day, Cibrian's character will be transferred to Miami from the Hollywood division and is said to have worked robbery homicide in L.A. Speaking of the season premiere, Delko will be found unconscious in the first two minutes of the episode. The flashbacks starts as soon as Delko is in the ambulance en route to the hospital. The transition between present day and 1997 will be done with a camera shot of the ambulance's license plate showing "09" ad then changing to "97". Then we see Delko in his tow truck. The episode will reveal how Tripp lost all his hair. Sadly Rory Cochrane will not appear in the flashbacks as the actor turned the show down. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
Desperate Housewives
  • Gardener John, played by Jesse Metcalfe, will return for episodes 3 and 4. Carlos' niece Ana learns that Gabby and John had an affair and she decides to set her sights on now-divorced John, which, as expected, upsets Gabby. [Source: Korbi TV]
  • The mystery of the year may involve 18-year-old Eddie, an off-beat neighborhood guy who is said to be charming and likeable. Why people think he may be the deceased of the season? Well, the casting call says he'll recur throughout the season and must be ready to work a day at a time here and there. So could it mean that he'll pop up as in flashbacks or as a "ghost"? To support that theory, in the second episode, which is when Eddie is introduced, there is an ER doctor, a detective and two officers. Maybe Eddie gets involved with the new mysterious Italian family or maybe he knows their secret and ends up dead? [Source: Spoiler TV]
One Tree Hill
  • Former NFL player Jerry Rice appears in the season premiere in a scene set at Nathan's son's birthday party. Samantha Walker will return at some point in the season. [Source: Watch with Kristin]
Supernatural
  • Prophet Chuck will come back to help out the brothers. Archangel Raphael, one of Nathaniel's friends, will appear on the show this season. [Source: Watch with Kristin]
  • Raphael will be a recurring character who is a mechanic possessed by one of the most powerful beings in the universe. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
The Big Bang Theory
The Mentalist
  • New agent Sam Bosco, aka Lisbon's ex, is getting an entourage: Melanie, Sam's assistant, and Agent Hicks, a male agent who works with Sam on the Serial Crimes Unit. Both are set to be introduced in the second episode of the season and to appear in five episodes. [Source: The Ausiello Files]

Penny and Leonard getting together on Big Bang isn't too surprising, now if it were Penny and Sheldon that would be something!
