Saturday Recap - Comic-Con Report

Rover runs out of gas as Comic-Con International winds down.Sunday will bring Comic-Con International to a close. And, folks like me who have been working the convention since Wednesday are feeling a lot like The Prisoner's poor, run-down Rover (right).

Saturday is usually the busiest at Comic-Con International -- the day when crowds hit their peak. It was certainly the busiest day so far for me on the convention beat.

In an eight-hour period, I piled up several exclusive, one-on-one interviews for TV Squad. They're set to run soon as Comic-Con winds down for 2009.

Moving from one interview to another, I sat down with David Tennant (Doctor Who), the cast of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Mike Judge (The Goode Family) and the creators of The Venture Brothers.

There are worse ways to make a living than talking to folks like that. The tricky bit is you cant' conduct one interview and write up the previous one at the same time -- at least not without looking like a rude idiot. So, keep an eye out over the next day or so for these exclusives as Comic-Con 2009 says good night.
