What You Missed Last Night: William Shatner does Sarah Palin

by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 28th 2009 11:30AM
You knew that when Sarah Palin gave her incomprehensible farewell speech the other day the late night shows would jump on it. The Daily Show did it last night, and so did The Colbert Report. But I didn't expect William Shatner to add his semi-musical take. This is from last night's Tonight Show.

I see you linked to the Hulu version of the Shatner thing and I just wanted to point out that YouTube took down the video from that site due to "copyright" claim. It just blows my mind that NBC is so stupid to think that was a wise decision. Why would you after weeks of falling ratings and you finally have people talking about Conan then decide to remove the most accessible and known video site's version of this clip? I'm sure they don't want Conan to fail but this is a great example of how these large corporations just don't get it. Sorry for the rant on this blog but I figured it was as good a place as any.

The headline to this article is just wrong. It will take some time and good therapy to get the picture out of my head...
