Baby on Board?
The biggest spoiler -- maybe -- comes from some paparazzi set photos that hit the Internet earlier this summer. In the pics, Don (two-time Emmy nominee Jon Hamm) and wife Betty (January Jones) are seen carrying a suitcase and an infant. We assume this means Betty gave birth after her surprise announcement that she was pregnant at the end of season 2. Some fans posit that the photos suggest the show doesn't jump too far into the future, but we have one word for those theorists: flashbacks? Or how about two words: dream sequence?

The Future Is Now
Rumors are swirling that, just like the show did last year, the season 3 premiere will jump ahead a couple of years. Weiner has said he doesn't plan to cover the JFK assassination, which has led fans to guess that the show may pick up in 1964. (Season 1 took place in 1960, and season 2 in 1962.)

Daddy Dearest
And one more note on baby Draper: Despite speculation over the kid's paternity, after Betty's one-night fling, Weiner confirms that Don absolutely is the dada. "[The child] belongs to Don," Weiner told EW.com. "For some reason there was some confusion about it because she was unfaithful, but there shouldn't be. It is Don's baby."

Shock and Awe
In AMC's new countdown of the 10 most shocking 'Mad Men' moments, the no. 1 entry ends with interviews with several cast members talking about how "shocking" this season will be. "It hits the fan right away," said Rich Sommer (who plays Harry Crane) of the premiere, while Michael Gladis, who plays Paul Kinsey, added, "Can I just say, I was shocked by season 3's first script."

Getting to Know Sal
Bryan Batt, who plays closeted art director Sal Romano, told TVGuide.com that he doesn't think Weiner plans to have Sal reveal his homosexuality, but he did say season 3 will include a storyline long in the making. "It's interesting that it didn't pan out until now, even though it's the first thing he ever told me about," Batt said cryptically. And at the annual TV critics press tour, he teased, "You'll be learning a lot more about Sal ... I can't tell you what you'll learn, but it's fun."

Mad About Harris
The biggest casting news of the new season: British actor Jared Harris ('Fringe' and 'The Riches') will play Lane Pryce, the Sterling Cooper chief financial officer, in at least 10 episodes.

The British Are Coming!
Supporting Actor Emmy nominee John Slattery, who plays senior partner Roger Sterling, says of Pryce and the fact that Sterling Cooper was purchased by a British company at the end of season 2, "You should be very afraid. I am."

Sink or Swim
The official poster for season 3 shows Don, attired in one of his trademark suits, sitting calmly in his office as water begins to rise around him. A hint that his secrets are going to be catching up with him, perhaps?

And more 'Mad Men' minutiae:
• If you haven't added the season 2 DVDs to your collection yet, set your DVR: AMC is airing a season 2 marathon on Aug. 10 (7AM).

• And one more DVR tip: When recording season 3 episodes, make sure the DVR goes a few minutes past 11PM (ET). AMC will add two minutes of commercials to each episode, leaving two minutes less story time for Weiner and company. The compromise: 'Mad Men' installments will now run a few minutes longer than an hour to accommodate the extra ads. Hey, it is a show about the advertising business ...

• Finally, one more way to keep up with 'Mad Men' happenings: Twitter. In addition to fan feeds, several 'Mad Men' characters have their own Twitter accounts, run by fans, but approved by AMC, including Don Draper, Peggy Olson, Roger Sterling, Pete Campbell, Betty Draper and Joan Holloway.

• Banana Republic has launched a campaign to help you dress like Don Draper. The program, which runs through Aug. 11, features window displays with characters and styles from the show, and will have salespeople helping customers find clothing that will help them look like their favorite 'Mad Men' and women. The chain is also offering free iTunes downloads of the series pilot with a purchase, and the chance to win a walk-on role in a 'Mad Men' episode.

• And if you haven't "'Mad Men'-ed Yourself" yet, hop over to AMC's site to transform into a virtual '60s character. We did it, check us out!
