Jimmy Kimmel explains how Billy Mays keeps doing commercials

by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 3rd 2009 6:30PM
Yes, Jimmy Kimmel went there.

I was wondering when someone would do some sort of parody related to the death of Billy Mays, and it's Jimmy Kimmel Live. There have been jokes here and there, including some by Kimmel himself, but this is the first all-out segment I've seen. Over the line? Judge for yourself.

I'm honestly not sure if I think it's tasteless or funny... but wow, they seriously got the voice down!

Shrug.

Not sure why:

1. People actually express any kind emotion regarding Mays
2. Why people act like death makes jokes verboten.

Lighten up. You will die. Billy Mays was a barker. nothing more. It's not like the world lost an important scientist or diplomat or even a decent cable actor. Are people gonna wig out when the micro machines guy dies? Or David Leisure?

Typical, unfunny Kimmel...He should be doing podcasts and Adam Carolla should have a late night show...He is on Stern sometimes and it is always cringe-worthy...
