Roseanne Barr is Hitler

Roseanne Barr as HitlerI recognize that many celebrities are into the whole "controversy" thing in an effort to remain relevant, but Roseanne Barr took it one step further. She dressed up as a baking Hitler and I think her cookies are supposed to be Jews. The fact that she apparently did it for a Jewish magazine called Heeb makes me shake my head in wonder even more. Did someone there think this was a good idea, or were they just trying to create controversy?

Apparently, her photo did cause some controversy among the Jewish community, and Roseanne posted a response of her own on her blog. Uh, yeah. This is a move that makes about as much sense as singing "The Star Spangled Banner" off key at a sporting event, something else Ms. Barr has done in her sordid past. If the Jews do, in fact, run Hollywood, then Roseanne may have just blacklisted herself.

Let's leave out the fact that I beleive you your self are jewish; But of all of the PC Faux pas that celeberties
Have made over the last handful of years This one Was a PLANNED ,concious ,one . I do not know why you would do this . You don't need any more Bad publicity .
Especially one of this nature .
Normally I take jewish humor with a grain of salt ((or matzoh if you wish)I am jewish after all), but this is a hatefull & BIGOTED example. that would be on the par whith saying or joking that people who have multiple
personality disorders are BEwitched by evil spirits .
it is just WRONG. please try to use better judgment in the future

Considering Heeb is a magazine for the young, edgy Jewish community that deals heavily in satire, I'm not terribly surprised that they'd do something like that. And, of course, when has Roseanne ever shied away from controversy?

I agree with Robyn. HEEB is a jewish counter-culture magazine that has it's quirks. It doesn't usually go for the 'shock value', but it's certainly not a conservative magazine.

I would really like to know the entire context of the article and/or picture before passing personal judgment. Seeing this picture isn't enough to raise my ire without knowing more.

I knew I shouldn't have let my subscription expire!

First of, I think it's horrific and I refuse to apologize for it, being a Jew, whose family *barely* made it through WWII.
However, Roseanne is also Jewish, which makes me wonder what kind of commentary this is supposed to be.
