True Blood stars are true to each other

True BloodUsually I don't write about relationships between cast members of a show (it seems more like gossip than actual television news), but since I'm a fan of True Blood and I found this little twist interesting, here we go. Co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are engaged to be married.

What's even more interesting is (spoilers follow, but they're only spoilers if you haven't read the original Southern Vampire Mysteries books): if the television series is true to the spirit of Charlaine Harris' book series, then Bill and Sookie won't be a couple forever. In fact, it would likely end next season. Hopefully the actual relationship between Moyer and Paquin will last longer.

Of course, this isn't the first time a couple on a television show have actually had a relationship in real life. The classic I can think of off the cuff is Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz (and they were married before they even had a show). Who else has had a relationship from reel to real?

well , they are just made for each other. I like both of them. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are the typical couple who has had a relationship from reel to real reel to real. Although it seems that their relationship has been in trouble. I believe they did love each other.

The couples from the bachelor and bachelorette...Oh wait, nevermind. True Blood doesn't follow the books as much as people would think. I would bet a pretty penny that that they don't break up next season...

Well what about (Sir) Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor? They were like a leading couple in a number of movies, broke up and re-married.

In movies at least Larry Olivier and Vivian Leigh were a onscreen and off screen, when he did a few tv appearences in the 70's it was with real life then wife Joan Plowwright.

There have been quite a few on off screen engagements /marriages, but if you look at the history of it, they never last. Lucy and Desi didn't make it, didn't they divorce right after the last episode? Let's hope that this couple isn't just Method acting and will stay in reality.
