V sites about V

by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 18th 2009 6:27PM
Remember when the networks hardly did anything with their TV shows online? Heck, remember when we didn't even have official web sites and fan sites for our favorite shows? If we wanted to talk about, say, Knot's Landing, we had to open our windows and yell to our neighbors, "Can you believe Val did that last night?!" Either that or send a letter via mail, and that took days.

But now we have web sites for every show, and fans of ABC's remake of V have already put up a bunch of sites for that show (which premieres November 3 ):

The V-Files

Visitors Among Us

The Visitor Site

Ilana's V Celebrity Site

That last one actually has a bunch of info about the original series too. And of course we have the official ABC site too. Actually, that's not even official site that ABC will eventually have for the show it's just a preview video and a summary, but they're redesigning their entire site and the link for the show gets you an error right now.

[thanks to Pamela for the tip]

Aloha all..

MadBeeOtch here, creator of http://www.thevfiles.info/.. I know I am a bit bias, but I believe I have the most up to date website around for the show.. And will have, over the next few months, the most detailed collection of 26 years of V..

So if you are a fan, be sure to check us out!

Just to be safe, I've disabled the link to that last site, but people can Google it if they want to go there. Thanks for the heads up on it.

The link to "Ilana's V Celebrity Site" sets off my Anti-Virus protection.

Don't go there.
