'American Idol' books Joe Jonas in Dallas, Kim Kardashian lands a guest spot on 'Brothers,' Oliver Stone plans to unveil the 'Secret History of America' and more of today's top TV headlines.
Joe Jonas has been confirmed as the next guest judge on 'American Idol' season 9. The JoBro will stop by Monday's auditions in Dallas, following previously announced guests Shania Twain, Mary J. Blige, Katy Perry and Victoria Beckham. Also rumored to be a guest judge this season is the show's original 'Idol,' Kelly Clarkson, although nothing has been confirmed. [PEOPLE]
Kim Kardashian will guest on an upcoming episode of 'Brothers,' premiering Sept. 25 on Fox. Kardashian will play herself on the episode (airing this October), in which she confronts ex-football player Michael Trainor (Michael Strathan) about rumors that they hooked up together. We're sure this has nothing to do with ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush. [PEOPLE]
Nicole Kidman will make a cameo appearance on 'Project Runway: All-Star Challenge,' which airs this Thursday. Kidman will "help set up a challenge" on the special episode, although she will not actually sit on the judges' panel. The two-hour 'All-Star' challenge airs at 8PM on Lifetime. [EW.com]
Oliver Stone is about to uncover the 'Secret History of America,' a new 10-part documentary series for Showtime. The Oscar-winning director will narrate the series, about a number of under-reported events, including President Truman's decision to drop the atomic bomb on Japan, the Vietnam War and "newly discovered facts and accounts" from the Kennedy administration. 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' alum James Marsters is joining the cast of 'Caprica,' Syfy's prequel to 'Battlestar Galactica.'
