Ted Kennedy on Chicago Hope, talking about healthcare

by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 26th 2009 5:29PM
Ted Kennedy died early this morning at age 77. Healthcare for everyone was one of Kennedy's major causes and it has been going on for quite some time. This clip is from a 1997 episode of Chicago Hope. It features Ted Kennedy and Ron Silver (he died this year too). What a great actor Silver was.

When one is trying to increase the Government's control over the private sector, a Liberal Senator would be emotional and passionate about it.

I wonder if that is actual hearing footage spliced into the Chicago Hope show, because Ted Kennedy spoke with such emotion and passion, too muc to be following a script!
