Big Brother 11 : Eviction #8, HoH #9

(S11E22) Well, we all knew sparks would fly tonight on Big Brother 11. After being backdoored by Jeff in the last episode, Russell practically promised to pull a Chima. Don't you just love it when foolish moves are named after the houseguest who did them? A Marcellas, of course, is not saving yourself with the veto and getting evicted. A Chima is a complete breakdown, tossing all to the wind while wreaking havoc in the house.
But, what we didn't expect was Jordan freaking out on Russell. Nope, I didn't see that one coming. While the two boys -- yes, when they act like that, Jeff and Russell are boys, not men -- were having their pissing contest, all of a sudden Jordan just rushed Russell and chest-bumped him! Wow! Those implants could have caused a traumatic injury!
While no one enjoys a good brouhaha more than I do, this one was boring until Jordan rushed in to make it good TV. Russell should know better than to call a woman fat and tell her to go eat cookie dough. I mean, those are definitely fighting words. He's lucky Jordan didn't start pummeling him. While he likes to intimidate women (and men), I can't see him hitting a woman half his size.
All in all, it was bad behavior on everybody's part involved. Michele looked downright uncomfortable. However, both Kevin and Natalie, after they got over the initial shock, had to sneak an occasional grin in. After all, this was all their doing. They're the ones who set it in motion.
Sigh. We got to see Lydia arrive at the jury house. Jessie is still a tool, albeit no longer a power tool. He went on about his tan and his body once again. Lydia hit punches which were nothing and hugged him. Then they wrestled. Hey, they might as well be back in the house! Jessie again whined about the power being handed to Jeff for nothing. I don't know how he can say that when he himself got power just handed to him in the beginning of the season. After watching the DVD of the comps, he changed his mind and said if Jeff pulls it off, he might vote for him.
Natalie dressed in sweats with a t-shirt over them for the live eviction. Russell was sharply dressed in a sport coat and dress slacks. The vote itself didn't surprise me, but a few things did:
- Natalie's speech in which she said everyone told her they were keeping her in the house.
- Russell's Sybil act once again -- all of a sudden, he was goodness and light. He hugged everyone and wished them luck.
- Then he was polite to Julie Chen, too. He claimed a lot of the behavior was an act as he tried Evel Dick, Dr. Will, Mike Boogie, and Dan's tactics.
- Um ... he didn't carry off that too well in the house.
The head of household comp started. Yes, once again, started. The hamsters have to fill a 16 gallon bowl with eight ounce cups of hot chocolate by running back and forth a slick "graham cracker." Julie said it would be about four miles. I'll be posting a separate live feeds HoH spoiler post here on TV Squad. Please don't post any HoH spoilers in the comments for this post.
