What to Watch Aug. 31-Sept. 6

This week on TV: The students of 'Greek' go back to school, FX puts out 'Rescue Me' and 'So You Think You Can Dance' celebrates its best pieces ever. -- By Kimberly Potts

MONDAY, AUGUST 31


Greek'Greek' (9PM, ABC Family) 3rd season premiere
When last we left the Cyprus-Rhodes gang, Casey had finally 'fessed up to her feelings for ex-boyfriend Cappie, only to have him turn her down. When we meet up with them in the season premiere, Casey's still trying to deal with the sting of Cappie's rejection, while Cappie is just finding out that Max isn't on campus. Rusty, meanwhile, has bigger issues on his plate, as his failing grade in organic chemistry puts him at risk of being kicked out of the honors program.

'Weeds' – 5th season finale (10PM, Showtime)
'Dance Your Ass Off' – 1st season finale (10PM, Oxygen)
'The T.O. Show' – Everyone heads to Vegas to celebrate Mo's upcoming wedding (10PM, VH1)
'CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock' – Taylor Swift, Sugarland and Brad Paisley perform (8PM, ABC)

MONDAY, AUGUST 31


Greek'Greek' (9PM, ABC Family) 3rd season premiere

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

Rescue Me'Rescue Me' (10PM, FX) 5th season finale
As the ending of last week's episode hinted, the season ends in tragedy for Uncle Teddy. Most shockingly, he seems to deal with the situation rather calmly, until it catches up with him all at once. Not that rest of the Gavins are swimming in happiness, either. Janet and Sheila's plan doesn't go off without a hitch, and that means yet more upheaval for nearly everyone in Tommy's orbit.

So You Think You Can Dance: Top 15 Dances'So You Think You Can Dance: Top 15 Dances' (8PM, Fox)
Seems like the last season just ended? That's because it did, but Fox isn't making fans wait until next year for another season. 'SYTYCD,' season six, will premiere on Sept. 9, and to get viewers back in a 'SYTYCD' frame of mind, the network is counting down the best 15 performances from the first five seasons. Will your fave make the list?

Divas in the house and ready to toss some 'tude at whoever crosses their paths: First, Kim gets a new nanny, and, with memories of her recent nanny woes fresh in her mind, sets down some rules right up front. Later, she tries to make up with Lisa, while NeNe tries to direct the Housewives in a photo shoot and Kandi's plans for an engagement party are canceled because of a family trauma.

'Project Runway' – Tonight's ep is called 'Rumble on the Runway' – a fashion fight? (10PM, Lifetime)
'Ace of Cakes' – Ben makes a pirate ship cake (10PM, Food Network)

Chefs vs City'Chefs vs. City' (10PM, Food Network)
If you haven't checked out the Food Network's newest guilty pleasure, tonight's the perfect time, as the show – kind of a like 'The Amazing Race' for foodies – heads to Chicago. In the Windy City, chefs Aarón and Chris face off against Joey's Brickhouse owners Joey and Greg Morelli, in a series of frenzied food challenges that take them throughout Chi-town.

'Making Over America With Trinny & Susannah' – The hosts makeover an innkeeper in Delaware (10PM, TLC)
'Bang for Your Buck' – What kind of basement renovation will $115,000 get you in Minneapolis? (9:30PM, HGTV)

Last year, the comedian's annual telethon to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association ended with more than $65 million on the tote board, and heading into this year's event, the 44th annual MDA telethon, Lewis will try to top that, with help from co-hosts like Tom Bergeron, Nancy O'Dell, Alison Sweeney and 'American Idol' alum Ace Young.
