No, not brilliant. Retarded. I hadn't seen Glee before, was interested in it until I saw garbage all over the screen. I figured it was cast/crew tweeting about the show live, but you know what, that's something that should be kept to the producers' little closet of poor ideas. If I want to watch a show with pithy, insightful comments from cast, I'll turn the commentary on for the DVDs.

I agree with the other commenters. I can't stand twitter--I did try it, but I found it ridiculous. I was so excited to find out Fringe was on, and I was horrified to see the "tweets" rolling up the screen. I tried to give it a chance. I attempted to watch Fringe with that incredibly annoying text constantly popping up, but I couldn't do it. Twitter is stupid in general. Broadcasters attempting to incorporate Twitter because it's a trend only amplifies the stupidity.

The Twitter/tweet episode killed this show for me. That has got to be the most insane stupid thing any TV show has done. How can anyone enjoy the show with all that mindless garbage on the bottom of the screen. I absolutely hated it and could not watch the show.

If I wanted to Twitter this, I would go to Twitter, which I do not use, EVER.

The bottom third thing is a horrrrrible idea. The people who care about Twitter can look on their laptop, and the people who just want to watch the show should just be able to watch the show.

PLEASE tell me this isn't going to be the fiasco that was tried years ago on some shows of having people posting in a chat room displayed at the bottom of the screen!!

I sure hope this Twitter fad hurries up and dies!

Interesting idea, but, as someone who watched the Glee pilot earlier and hoped to convince his wife to watch it on the replay, I wish they had a "no-tweet" option. It's hardly the best way to watch a show for the first time.
