Imus is back ... on Fox Business Channel

Don ImusAfter being suspended by both CBS Radio and MSNBC two years ago over some derogatory on air comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team, Don Imus will once again enjoy a television presence (having already regained a radio presence) on the Fox Business Network.

Granted, the whole controversy around his statements from two years ago was a little overblown. Other shock jocks have made far worse statements on the air with much less in the way of media attention. That sort of language is business as usual for them.

The question is this; what does Don Imus have to do with business? He's not exactly Warren Buffett. He's not even Jim Cramer. Mind you, his previous television show was on MSNBC, which is also a business network [update: MSNBC is not a business network. I confused it for CNBC. My apologies]. At most this can be taken as a switch of political affiliation.

So what do you think? Will you be watching Don Imus on his new show?

what a bunch of jerks. Imus wasn't always a "shock" jock...back in the early years when he used to work for WNBC radio (70-77) he was "THE" jock..almost as popular as Wolfman Jack was...society and time have a way of changuing people as time goes on...it's happening all of the place.and right in your own backyards...attitudes are formed,opinions are expressed....etc ...look at the Dixie Chicks comment...a lot of fans loved the Dixie Chics until that explosive comment about "it's a shame the President is from Texas"...now their bad guys...,Irma Grese..notorious Nazi SS guard of Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen...a sweet caring kind wanna be a nurse kind of person ...in 4 years turned to be the most hated nazi women of world war II,(and at the age of 22 was hanged for war crimes).....Imus?.......he was cool at one time too.......he's nothing compared many others...he's just a guy with opinions....take him or leave him....

I guess I'm kinda "middle of the road" when it comes to Imus. Can take him or leave him, but I sure don't think he shoulda been fired. I think everyones skin has gotten so thin, so PC, ugh.

Yes, I will watch Imus...I thought his firing was absolutely ridiculous... That firing did not endear Rev Sharpton to anyone...He is an annoying trouble maker...a divider...a noise maker....I wish i had a dime for the names my heritage has brought me...I just ignore it...stick and stones will break my bones, but names will never hirt me...

No. I am not interested in the views of Imus or anyone else that has to entertain others by name calling. Normally people who have flaws themselves (he is such a homely looking man) find it funny to try to hide those flaws by speaking negatively about others. I don't think he is a Christian man.
