Real Orange County wife evicted and scandalized

Lynn_Curtin_Bravo_Real_HousewivesLately, I feel like I need a shower after watching an episode of any of the Real Housewives on Bravo. The franchise is getting progressively trashier, which probably doesn't bother Bravo because the ratings have continued to boom.

This latest news might help The Real Housewives of Orange County when it returns. Reality star Lynne Curtin has been accused of stealing furniture from the house she'd been renting for the show. Not only that, but the homeowner is claiming Curtin also destroyed property before vacating.

That image is diametrically opposite of the one presented on the show. Curtin's home was never revealed to be a rental for starters. Her domestic situation was also seemingly secure and stable, with no problems with her husband and children.

If anything, Lynne was the most down to earth of the group, which made her more boring than the other, more flamboyant ladies of SoCal.

The producers were apparently hoodwinked by Lynne, or they just didn't care about the reality of her life. Since the season ended, Curtin had been on the verge of eviction and threatened to leave her husband if he didn't fix the situation. Now that she's actually been booted, you wonder if her hubby is still with the family or if she followed through and dumped him.

Bravo reps haven't commented yet, but if I had to bet, I don't think Curtin will be back when the O.C. wives return. She'd somehow have to strike gold -- find a new, rich husband -- to qualify for all those botox parties and shopping trips to Tiffany's.

Of course, for ratings, Bravo might just ask Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger to get her a new sugar daddy. That would solve the problem, and create a helluva crossover!
