Jon "despises" Kate

Jon And Kate Plus EightThings are getting a little heated for everyone's favorite dysfunctional family. No, not The Simpsons. I'm referring to Jon Gosselin, the former patriarch of Jon and Kate Plus Eight, who declared on Good Morning America that he "despises" his ex-wife and former co-star, Kate. And here I thought "TLC" also meant "tender loving care".

People, do you remember all those "reality" programs that so many of you adore so much? They're all fake. This is the sort of reason I can't stand reality television. While there is no formal "script", the people on those shows are as much characters as those on Battlestar Galactica, except the writing isn't as good.

As a note to anybody famous considering divorce: if you do decide to go through with it, practice some tact and don't make it the headline of every tabloid that points a microphone in your face. This entire situation is schadenfreude at its worst.

jon did,nt deserve the abuse he got,cant blame him for leaving.she loves the spotlife for herself,it,s all about her,everything is mine, mine.the sob story about not having money for the bills, came back to bite her you know where.jon needs to chill, and hang low for awhile.we will miss seeing the kids grow up. get a real job kate, nursing is better then nothing.sharon

Emasculated her husband? You can't emasculate something that isn't there. She was harsh, and she has admitted it but having said that it was obvious from the start that Jon was looking for a way out of the marriage and responsibilities and used her so called "abuse" as an excuse. I feel sorry for the poor kids when they meet that skanky girlfriend of Jon's. I would't have her within ten miles of my kids and I hope the lawyers see it her way as well. Jon is nothing but an ass and pretty soon the girlfriend will tire of him because he will lose all his money and he won't be nearly as attractive then.

OMG,
Did you see the look in jons eyes during the good morning america show. Didnt look like a stable person to me. Also, I dont think his antics are something he learned in 6 or so months and his complaint he is always with the kids, how could that be, he is always with hailey. What does it matter anyway, I hope Kate moves on with her life shes better off without him.

What is the matter with all of you?
Who has been faced with the challenge that
they have? Supporting 8-10 people.
You can say what you want,but I think her
very Faith is at stake.
(He who does not provide for his own household
especially his immediate family is worse than a non
believer). Give then a break!
She is doing what she believes is best,and under the
hardest of circumstances. Let up everyone.
We have no idea what we would do in the same situation.

Adam, please! Is she any better? Traipsing all over the country for a book of recipes that she didn't create. Posing in her bikini on the beach. Going on a binge of news shows to get her face out there every chance she gets.

She emasculated her husband on national TV. EVERYTHING is her way or the highway. It's obvious that he loves those kids. What's also obvious is that she is loving the notoriety every step of the way. He's trying to get away from it, but she's now put him in the position of having to defend himself. Her phony tears will only taker her so far.

He's trying to get away from the notoriety!!?!?! That's why he was shopping a reality show with Michael Lohan, Jose Canseco, and Dennis Rodman. He loves his kids so much, but where is he gonna fit them in his M3 or on his motorcycle? Like I said, Kate's certainly not clear from blame, but this guy is a sad example of man and he really deserved to be put in his place. He basically admitted in an interview that he thinks having kids ruined his 20s!! He needs to pull those stupid things out of his ear, stop wearing shirts with embellishments on them, and grow the hell up.

What happened to growing some brass ones. If he's going to stand around like a limp dish rag and take it, then boo hoo for him. It's too late now. Now he is portrayed as a money spending, ugly girl dating jackass who doesn't deserve these kids. I don't hear Kate saying she "despises" Jon even though she clearly does. He doesn' realize that one day his kids will see these things and - oops - too late dumbass!!!

WHOA....couldn't have said it better myself...exactly....let's leave them alone to clean up their own ugliness....there are no winners here, and it's really become a disgusting phenomena. Let's all let it go, and hopefully the children will one day be able to live healthy lives....there really aren't two other less attractive people I can think of...splash some cold water on your faces and look in the mirror!!!! not pretty....

We saw the verbal abuse Kate dished out. I don't blame him one bit for walking. I'm afraid those kids are already seeing some of that abuse themselves.

Seriously, ask yourself why Kate treated him like the 9th child? What has Jon done in his months of freedom? Spent most of his time away from his kid, sticking them with a nanny instead of spending one of his weekends with them, got a sports car, a motorcycle, 2 diamond studs, a girlfriend who he met when she was 15!, trashed the mother of his children all over TV, wearing nothing but Ed Hardy, and hosting parties in Vegas and clubs all across the country. He's not a man, he's a petulent man-boy who needed to be held on a tight leash to force him to fulfill his obligations as a husband and a father. Not that Kate should escape all culpability, but Jon is as much a victim as Al Sharpton on one of his endless crusades. The ONLY victims here are the kids. As if Mady wasn't f'd up enough, now her parents have become the Lohans.

Again, I say `too little too late`Jon. Where were your balls early on in the show. Stop blaming other people for your lack of a backbone. Maybe during your `private conversatons`if presented properly, Kate, I`m sure would have changed her attitude. Also, I`m sure it wasn`t all the time she acted like that. Boo hoo, poor you Jon, now you say on National TV about the Dr. Phil thing, Ì should have gone snowboarding` Are you kidding!!! Shows where your priorities are. Maybe you need to understaned Joyce that everyone has choices in this life and Jon decided to abondon his family to pursue ugly, skanky girls who shouldn`t be within 10 miles of his kids. You `don`t blame him for leaving - then you`re no better than he is - can`t stand not playing so I`ll leave my responsibilities behind. Nice.
