America's Got Talent: Top 20 results show two

Tonight we learn who's taking the last five spots in the finals. Nick also reminded us that the next show will air Monday, Sept. 14, and that there's no judge's pick tonight. The five who go through will be the five that America voted for. As it should be, in my view.
After a brief recap of last night's show, Nick asked Piers why he X'd the acts he did. Piers said it's a simple formula -- a game of the good and the not-so-good. Sharon gave another shout out to Barbara Padilla, whom she absolutely loves. Hoff said, "I'm Hoff crazy!" He also reminded us that they've seen a hundred thousand acts and it's getting down to the wire.
Up first was FootworKINGz and Hairo Torres. One is safe, and one is going home. America voted and the act going into the finals is ... Hairo Torres. Piers said this is his reward for being very talented and unusual, and he can see that Torres really wants this. "This is everything I've worked for," said Torres. "This is it." He looks a little bit like a deer caught in the headlights (understandable!), but more power to him.
Then we got a little clip of something that happened last week during the commercial break -- the judges musing over who to send home: Fab Five or Voices of Glory. They decided to change the rules and send both to the finals. That's got to be a tough spot, having to pick between two acts that are both really deserving to move forward.
Erik & Rickie and Jeffrey Ou were next to have their fates decided. They're both out! Both acts are really talented, but I don't know that I could see either as a Vegas act.
Mario & Jenny and Recycled Percussion were next. The act moving forward is Recycled Percussion. All the losing acts always seem so gracious, and that's true of Mario & Jenny. Jenny thanked everyone for supporting them, and said we haven't seen the last of them. Recycled Percussion thanked everyone and reminded kids to stay away from alcohol and drugs, and focus their energies on positive things.
Then we got a performance from Jersey Boys, who are currently performing in Vegas. Nice, but I'm mostly here for the results! Their advice: "Always stay true to yourself, and always, when you're performing in Las Vegas, remember to bring a humidifer."
Lawrence Beamen, Drew Stevyns, EriAm Sisters, and Barbara Padilla stepped forward next. After America's vote, the act taking the fourth spot in the final is Barbara Padilla. Piers said her performance last night was "the single greatest vocal performance" they've ever had on America's Got Talent. He also noted that being the favorite is a tough spot to be in, because everyone is out to beat her.
The act taking the next spot in the final is Lawrence Beamen, who thanked everyone and promised that he'd continue to bring his best for every performance.
Drew Stevyns and EriAm Sisters were on the hot seat next. The next act moving forward is Drew Stevyns. Hoff said America made the right choice, noting that Drew has originality, commercial appeal, and he sang from his heart and went for it.
Thoughts on these choices? Did America pick the right acts tonight?
