USA may bring back 'Law & Order: CI' for a ninth season, Bob Saget is returning to 'America's Funniest Videos,' Oprah books 'Mad Men''s Jon Hamm and January Jones and more of today's top TV headlines.
USA Networks is reportedly closing a deal to renew 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' for a ninth season. According to sources, co-star Julianne Nichols will not return, and may be replaced by 'My Own Worst Enemy''s Saffron Burrows. Jeff Goldblum, Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe are also in talks to return, although nothing has been finalized. [Ausiello Files]
Bob Saget is planning a return to 'America's Funniest Home Videos.' The former host will team up with Tom Bergeron to celebrate the best clips from the show's 20 years on ABC. The episode is currently slated to air in November. Expect a 'Full House.' [EW.com]
