  • CBS has the season premiere of How I Met Your Mother at 8, then the series premiere of Accidentally on Purpose and the season premieres of Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, and CSI: Miami.
  • NBC has the two-hour season premiere of Heroes at 8, then a new Jay Leno Show.
  • FOX has the two-hour season premiere of House at 8.
  • There's a new One Tree Hill on The CW at 8, followed by a new Gossip Girl.

Good job posting this earlier. In years past it's always been posted too late for my taste.

Yay for this week - my shows are back! My DVR went from 3 or 4 shows this summer to 17 for this week alone :)

Maybe it's to give us an extra time to plan.

There's just SO MUCH TV on tonight. I'm not complaining, but I need like 3 more hours of the day to catch it all!

People who get our RSS newsletter have constantly complained to us that this info is old by the time they get it. With the time change of when our newsletter comes out (now it's around 1 PM ET instead of 11 PM ET), it seemed like it would be a good idea to move What's On Tonight up in time for the newsletter to come out.
