About Medium: I have been enjoying this show for the past three years, but the stories are running out and becoming more and more unreal. Last night was the limit! What idiot dreamed up the screaming voice of "Soul Sister" (or "Sister Soul") with the high volume screaming and the gittar background noise? This was the worst noise added to a TV drama to which we have been subjected. Who in hell decides that good shows have to ruined by the addition of terrible music? We don't watch MTV or any of its ilk nor do we listen to radio. Now they have invaded television with their crap. Even if Medium does get another season, this kind of garbage will put it on our "no watch" list.

I have been a loyal and devoted L&O follower for all these past 19 years...and was really pleased to see that NBC renewed the program for a landmark 20th. Tonight I excitedly plopped into my easy chair, turned on my tv and - with great anticipation - sat back to enjoy the season premier of L&O. But UGH! What a disappointment!! By the end of the show I was so mad I wanted to throw my clicker at the screen. One of the strengths of L&O in the past has been its general even-handedness in presenting two sides of the moral/legal issue being dramatized. But tonight's program was so heavily ultra liberal in its point of view that I was completely turned off. If I want to be preached to or hit over the head with obvious liberal diatribes, I can switch the channel to MSNBC! If the producers and writers persist in "politicizing" L&O I'm afraid, I will stay with the reruns on TNT. Lenny - we miss you!!
