Ace of Cakes (Thursday,10 pm, Food)
Here's my call: 2010 is the year of cake. 'Ace of Cakes' will be the new 'Dog Whisperer' and soon we'll all talk with confidence about fondant the way 'Project Runway' has taught us to talk about draping. Get geared up with a visit to the Cake Wrecks blog.

Also This Week:
September 28 - Intervention (9 pm, A&E)
A new episode of this intense, harrowing reality show breaks with its own format and looks at 'sober companions' - people who help high-risk addicts trying to live on their own while struggling against having a relapse. No pressure, right? Tonight, a former meth addict tries to help a young mother.
September 30 - Dragon's Den (8 pm, CBC)
Season four of 'DD' promises $15 million in prizes to the most impressive entrepreneurs and inventors - and some fun for us viewers as the pitchers get narrowed down.
September 30 - Whatever, Martha (9 pm, Fine Living)
Martha Stewart's daughter Alexis co-hosts this totally meta-show that's half admiring and half ridiculing 'Martha Stewart Living.' It's obviously done with permission from MStew, since they've got clips aplenty. You've got to admire a lady who lets her own daughter laugh at her on television.
