But it wasn't just a place to give people more than their allotted 15 minutes of primetime fame. Since the channel's inception, Fox Reality has served up a slew of original programming offerings that dip into a seedier view of reality. 'My Bare Lady' followed adult film stars in different careers, 'Smile ... You're Under Arrest' set up elaborate stings to catch wanted criminals and 'The Search for the Next Elvira' pitted 13 contestants against one in a contest to become the next late-night cult-movie host.
The channel is available in approximately 50 million U.S. homes, and the company has said it will be focusing on "emerging channels" down the line.
