Bob DylanCBS's hit series 'NCIS' is gearing up for another soundtrack collection, featuring a host of popular artists such as Bob Dylan, Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow and Joss Stone. Due out November 3, the 12-song set also features 'Bitter and Blue,' a new song by 'NCIS' star Michael Weatherly.

As with the first soundtrack, the music will be used in upcoming episodes throughout this season.

Of special note on 'Volume 2' is the track by Bob Dylan. For the first volume, he contributed the song 'Things Have Changed'; but this time around, Dylan's giving the show -- and his fans -- something entirely new. To coincide with the soundtrack's release, the Nov. 3 episode will feature the Dylan original 'California,' which is an unreleased track from the 'Bring It Back Home' sessions.Bob DylanCBS's hit series 'NCIS' is gearing up for another soundtrack collection, featuring a host of popular artists such as Bob Dylan, Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow and Joss Stone. For the first volume, he contributed the song 'Things Have Changed'; but this time around, Dylan's giving the show -- and his fans -- something entirely new. To coincide with the soundtrack's release, the Nov. 3 episode will feature the Dylan original 'California,' which is an unreleased track from the 'Bring It Back Home' sessions. It's the latest development in a productive year for Dylan, who in April released the album 'Together Through Life' and recently came out with his first holiday album, 'Christmas in the Heart.'

Weatherly played in a band as a struggling actor, but 'Bitter and Blue' -- which was written for the soundtrack -- marks his first professional recording gig.

Other exclusive tracks specific to this volume include Sheryl Crow's 'Murder In My Heart,' Joss Stone's 'Every Time I Turn Around,' Norah Jones's 'That's What I Said' and John Mellencamp's 'Someday the Rains Will Fall.' Now in its seventh season, 'NCIS' is one of primetime's most popular shows, averaging around 20 million viewers a week.
