Two and a Half Men meet Tricia Helfer

by Allison Waldman, posted Oct 16th 2009 10:03AM
Tricia_Helfer_USATricia Helfer is a really, really good actress. Before she was killed on Burn Notice, I wanted her dead for what she did to Michael. On Battlestar Galactica, as Six, she was a stone cold Cylon killer. She's very good at convincing me that she's dangerous. But can she do comedy? Hmm ... I guess we're going to find out. Tricia Helfer will guest on Two and a Half Men in an upcoming episode.

According to Michael Ausiello of EW.com, Tricia will be playing a good friend of Charlie's fiancee, Chelsea, who has recently ended a bad relationship. As an act of kindness, Chelsea asks her to come out to Malibu for a visit.

Now, judging by how hot Helfer is and what a horn dog Charlie is -- and Alan, for that matter -- what are the chances that she won't cause some friction among the Harper household? Even if Charlie manages to keep his urges under control, if Alan gets anywhere with Tricia, Charlie will be jealous. That'll make Chelsea crazy and, well, you know, comedy ensues.

Like I said, it'll be interesting to see if Helfer can do comedy. So far, most of her credits have been more on the action/drama side.

Ah, but are we certain she was killed on Burn Notice?

I've never liked this show. I don't find it very funny and, usually, I feel like I wasted a half hour. But... I may watch one episode in the future because of her. Not just because she's crazy-pretty, but because I am also curious about seeing her in a different genre (I also liked her in both BN and BG).

I don't think she's a very good actress and have found her roles to be pretty one-note and boring. So as long as you're not expecting much more than eye candy, she'll do fine.
