Jillian MichaelsGet ready, families: 'The Biggest Loser' trainer Jillian Michaels is moving in this winter, as she brings her tough-as-nails attitude to a new series called 'Losing It With Jillian.'

The show will feature Michaels moving in for a week at a time with families who are in need of a lifestyle change; she'll shadow the participants in all facets of their lives in order to get a feel for what needs improving. Michaels will give the family a set of "marching orders" and follow up with them at a later date to see what changes have been made. Along for the ride will be Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone. "People don't appreciate that ['The Biggest Loser'] is a life-or-death situation," Michaels told reporters during a conference call. "It's the end of the road, the last resort. We don't want people ending up on 'The Biggest Loser.' ... I need enough time to go to work with the parents, go to school with the kids. I'm going to be living every aspect so I can evaluate and then implement a system that they can apply."

According to Variety, NBC has ordered eight episodes of Michaels' new show, and it's undecided whether the show will be packaged with 'The Biggest Loser' or will air on a different night. The producers are aiming for a one-hour program.

"I'm looking forward to having a new vehicle to help get out a bigger message of health and wellness," she said. Michaels cites that she's frequently heard criticism of 'The Biggest Loser' that it takes place at an isolated area, with the means to lose weight and no distractions. On the new show, she's removing those aids. "With this vehicle, we are taking everything available to you. We're taking all of the excuses and turning them into solutions. I most excited about showing people new avenues, where they can change their lives."

While competitive reality shows are showing signs of decline, 'The Biggest Loser' doesn't seem to be experiencing any viewer fatigue. Expect 'Losing It with Jillian' to air in early 2010.

The only question remaining: Now that Jillian has her own show, what about Bob?
