New TV DVDs for Oct. 20: 'Dr. Quinn,' 'Homicide,' 'Top Chef' & More

Of course, we doubt your neighbors will want to hand these out no matter how nicely you ask, but if you have the money you might want to take a look for yourself.

Topping the list of new releases is the the complete 'Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman'. The DVD release from A&E includes all 150 episodes and both feature length movies.

Also being collected in its entirety is the acclaimed police drama 'Homicide: Life on the Streets'. The DVD set also includes crossover episodes from fellow NBC franchise 'Law & Order'.

'Black Adder Remastered: the Ultimate Edition', which collects all four season of the BBC classic 'Black Adder', gives comedy lovers a look at Rowan Atkinson before he was Mr. Bean and Hugh Laurie before he was Dr. House.

Britain also presents another gem with 'Fawlty Towers: The Complete Collection Remastered', which includes commentary from 'Fawlty Towers' and 'Monty Python' star John Cleese.

Amy Poehler The latest in the line of 'Saturday Night Live' alums to get the "best of" DVD treatment is recent 'SNL' graduate Amy Poehler; the collection includes skits from Weekend Update as well as her Hillary Clinton impression.

For season five of 'Top Chef', the reality cooking series went to New York and served up a helping of romance and controversy. DVD extras include cooking demonstrations and an exclusive cookbook to go with them.

Before 'Transformers' was a record breaking film franchise, it was a beloved cartoon. Now the whole animated series is collected in what is somewhat awkwardly titled the '25th Anniversary Matrix of Leadership Edition'.
