What's Hot on SlashControl: Veronica clashes with Dr. Harris on Mercy

by Jane Boursaw, posted Oct 22nd 2009 1:31PM
Mercy - Veronica and Dr. HarrisThere's so much cool stuff on SlashControl, it's hard to choose what to feature. But since I get to do this every day, that'll make it easier. Today, I'm featuring a clip from one of my favorite new shows, Mercy. It's not like we don't have enough hospital/doctor/nurse shows on right now, but there's something about Mercy that's different.

Maybe it's the actors, which include Taylor Schilling, James Tupper, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Maybe it's the fact that the main character, Veronica, has just come home from Iraq and is still wounded from that experience. And yet she keeps moving forward, despite issues like smashing a windshield with a cinder block when she's angry.

In this clip, Veronica clashes with Dr. Harris, a real jerk of a doctor who loves throwing his power around. We all know someone like Dr. Harris, which is why he's so aggravating. And yet, if you saw last night's episode, you know there's a heart in there, too.

Let me know if you have any favorite clips or episodes on SlashControl, and I'll feature them here in this daily post.

This show started out as good as ER but now is turning into Grey's Anatomy Lite.

How about posting the beginning of last night's show--Jaime Lee Kirchner "Sonia" in that black bra waking up with her new boyfriend the cop.
She has to be the hottest on tv now. Can't take my eyes off that hottie.
