by Isabelle Carreau, posted Oct 23rd 2009 9:00AM

This is Spoilers Anonymous, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air. We'll never put spoilers up here on the main page in order to help the reformed stay unspoiled. If you have anything to add to the group, feel free to step up and let yourself be heard, either with our tips form or by emailing us at tvsquad at gmail dot com, or call and leave a message at (775) 640-8479. Your anonymity is guaranteed, if you wish to remain as such.

This week we have spoilers for: 90210, Bones, Desperate Housewives, Eastwick, Ghost Whisperer, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Lost, Melrose Place, Smallville, The Mentalist, and Ugly Betty. (SPOILERS FOLLOW!)

90210
  • The show is currently casting for a new adult woman in her late 30s or early 40s. The recurring character, named Laurel Sullivan, is described as a true Californian libertine who believes in free love, the environment, the power of music, and legalized marijuana. Laurel, an enormously successful music producer, is Ivy's mother. [Source: Spoiler TV]
  • Dixon will hook up with a woman we've met before who's older than Sasha. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • The spring episodes are promising a major lovefest when three couples reconcile within the space of a few weeks. [Source: TV Guide's Mega Buzz]

Bones

Desperate Housewives
  • In previous editions of Spoilers Anonymous, we told you that the mid-season cliffhanger would involve a plane crash. The show is currently looking for an actor to play the pilot of a small plane used to fly aerial banners around Fairfield for episode 6.10. Could it be the plane that is set to crash on Wisteria Lane? [Source: Spoiler TV]
  • Here's the first pic from the Desperate Housewives plane crash
  • A Desperate offspring is soon to be admitted to the hospital to have his or her stomach pumped. [Source: TV Guide's Mega Buzz]

Eastwick

Ghost Whisperer
  • The October 30 episode will feature a contemporary Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Greg Germann and Perrey Reeves will be part of the November 13 War of the Roses-themed episode as a warring real estate couple. [Source: Keck's Exclusives]

Grey's Anatomy

  • Veteran actor Joel Grey, 77, will appear in a November episode of Grey's Anatomy as Izzie's old high school teacher. He was the teacher who convinced Izzie she was more than a girl from the trailer park. And now he's in need of her help. [Shonda] Rhimes is also considering bringing back Sharon Lawrence as Izzie's trashy mama, Robbie Stevens. The show is planning an episode -- more likely the last of 2009 -- where Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's will be celebrated. The episode will introduce Bailey's mother, as well as a character from Mark's past who'll cause Mark and Lexie to fall on hard times. [Source: Keck's Exclusives]

Heroes

  • Episode 4.13 will feature flashbacks of a 13-year-old Samuel and a 18-year-old Joseph. [Source: Spoiler TV]

Lost
  • We will see a version of Claire we've never seen before that is described as a Rousseau-esque version. Speaking of Rousseau, we will not see the older version of her -- it's unknown if we'll see younger versions of her yet -- as actress Mira Furlan turned down the offer to return to the show due to a prior overseas commitment. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • Spoilers for the first five or six episodes: A character you would not expect sits next to Jack. Someone becomes ill in the toilet and needs Sayids help. Kate sleeps with someone but it is not Sawyer. We'll see the numbers again in a significant and shocking way. Hurley continues to communicate with someone special on the Island. Sayid's injuries are healed by something watery. Someone shoots at Fake Locke and a battle ensues. There are two burials. Jack and Kate take Sayid somewhere "Shiney". [Source: Lost Spoilers]

Melrose Place
  • Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Colin Egglesfield have been let go -- their last episode will air in January -- and the "Who killed Sydney?" mystery will be wrapped up in December. Along with Amanda's return, several new characters who are set to add more fun to will be introduced. Amanda will become a major focus of the show. Billy Campbell will play the billionaire version of Jonah, as well as be Amanda's love interest for three episodes. Executive producer Todd Slavkin claims that they always knew Ashlee's character, Violet, would go her way once the murder mystery would wrap up and that they planned from the beginning to wrap it up in episode 12. As for Colin, Slavkin says that Colin's brooding alcoholic character, Augie, doesn't fit with where they want to take the show once Sydney's murder is solved. Michael has many storylines coming up and he'll interact with old friend Amanda. Once the characters are no longer murder suspects, they will start having a great time, focus on their careers, etc. However, there will be another show intrigue. [Source: The Ausiello Files]

Smallville

The Mentalist

  • A new series regular will join the show in early 2010. The show is looking for an African-American actress to play Agent Beth Scott, a woman in her forties who is described as authoritative and a veteran CBI employee. [Source: Keck's Exclusives]

Ugly Betty
  • Neal Bledsoe has been cast as the long lost son Claire Meade gave up at birth. Bledsoe's character will be introduced in an arc that starts in December. [Source:Keck's Exclusives]

I agree! Augie is SUPER hot and Violet is the only reason I tune in every week - Ashlee does a great job with the crazy character!

It sounds like it's going to be a snooze fest after they bring back all the old people and everything is happy go lucky. Bo-ring.
