Would you call it a "slight" political lovetap if Gallagher used derogatory terms to refer to homosexuals, blacks or women? Apparently, liberals and their in the tank press find it acceptable to call regular folks like me who cling to our religion and guns, attend townhalls and tea parties and vote conservatively a vile term like "teabagger." I have no problem with those who want to criticize Beck. It's Obama and his cry-babies who are whining about those who don't agree with their agenda. You're right about one thing though. People need to grow up, starting with Obama. He should take pack up his toys and go home and leave running the government to those who understand and believe in the Constitution.

Glenn Beck's not someone who should be above reproach. He's a TV entertainer, plain and simple. If you can't critique Beck, then you shouldn't critique Kimmel, Letterman, etc. Whatever politics he works into his show are there solely to keep his audience happy. Ditto for the manufactured tears. If you think he's sincere about everything he says on his show, I have bridge in New York City you might be interested in purchasing.

Thank you SO much for insulting those that dare question the actions of our government by referring to those YOU disagree with using a derogatory term. Typical response from a liberal when they have NO better retort that to level insults. I see it time and again on liberal leaning blogs, (such as this apparently) and many guests on commentary and so-called news shows. Civility in this country is dead. When entertainment blogs such as this one sinks to insults by their writers against people who might read their stuff (count me out from supporting Gallagher's stuff anymore) then things really are pretty pathetic in this country.

I plan on figuring out the proper people to write and suggest they fire Gallagher. He has the right to write whatever he wants to. Oh wow, the people that protest our government is using their same rights as well. Huh, how about that. But he resorted to an insult that should not be used against other Americans. I have a right to suggest his insults are not warranted on Weblog, Inc.

How about blaming the people delivering the death threats?

Umm...Isn't Glenn Beck on TV? Doesn't he have his own tv show? So covering a story about him on TV website...how has that not in the spirit of this site? Oh yeah because they should only pick on tv personalities that you don't like. That's right, gotcha.

While I couldn't care less about Glenn Beck or who pays for him to go anywhere, I don't understand those who argue that this is not TV news/commentary. He is, at the moment, political TV's biggest celebrity, and no one would be complaining if this same article were written about an actor or reality TV star, so why get riled up about a different brand of television personality?

Danny, notice the site's name, TV Squad? That's what your site is supposed to cover. Your site is rather well-known for that. Using that popularity to sucker-punch readers with sophomoric political commentary--ending with a vulgar insult for people you don't happen to agree with--is unprofessional, immature and compromises the integrity of this site.

So there wouldn't be a problem if say, Keith Olbermann had been the recipient? Is that what this is about - the fact Beck is a conservative?
