The competition's as good as the prize in tonight's episode, as New York Yankee Derek Jeter leads the players through a baseball-related challenge, with the winner getting a healthy meal cooked by chef Curtis Stone. Friday Night LightsWEDNESDAY, OCT. 28
'Friday Night Lights' (9PM, DirecTV) season 4 premiere
It's the scrappy little show that could, as in, could make it to a fourth season (even if it won't make it back to network TV, namely NBC, until the whole season unfolds on DirecTV). Things are quite different as we return to Dillon, Texas: Coach Taylor is now helming the program at East Dillon, several students have gone off to college, new ones will factor in to the action, Saracen faces life as a townie and Riggins ... his mind is actually on a class lecture.

'Top Chef: Las Vegas' – Natalie Portman guests (10PM, Bravo)
THURSDAY, OCT. 29
The Real Housewives of Atlanta'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Reunion Special – Part 1 (10PM, Bravo)
Where to start? The NeNe/Kandi fight? The NeNe/Kim alleged strangling? The NeNe/Kim/Sheree' battle? The fashion shows (featuring the awful fashions)? Or Kim's 'Tardy for the Party' single, which is both the most dreadful song and the most delicious guilty pleasure, ever? We're sure they'll be tossed around on the first part of the Andy Cohen-hosted reunion, along with, we hope, a few of Kim's infamous wigs.

'The Office' – Truly scary: the Dunder-Mifflin-ies organize a haunted house for kids (9PM, NBC)
'30 Rock' – Comedy legend Betty White guest stars (9:30PM, NBC)

MediumFRIDAY, OCT. 30
'Medium' (9PM, CBS)
The former NBC drama gets appropriately Halloween-y in its first holiday on CBS with an episode entitled 'Bite Me.' The deal: Allison has a dream that puts her and her family smack in the middle of a classic horror movie – the zombie flick 'Night of the Living Dead' – and her dream experience might provide clues that will help her solve the real-life murder of a funeral director.

'Ghost Whisperer' – Melinda's haunted by the headless horseman from 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' (8PM, CBS)
'Halloween on Ice' – Nancy Kerrigan and Elvis Stojka perform (8PM, Hallmark)
'Smallville' – Oliver is double-crossed by Mia (8PM, The CW)
'Dollhouse' – Summer Glau joins the cast (9PM, Fox)
'Monk' – Mr. Monk gets a dog (9PM, USA)
WEEKEND, OCT. 31-NOV. 1
Curb Your Enthusiasm'Curb Your Enthusiasm' (Sun., 9PM, HBO)
Why are we lovin' Larry so much this season? It's arguably the best season of 'Curb' ever, and the reason is simple: Larry's living the fantasy life, where he says, thinks and does exactly as he pleases, consequences (to himself or others) de damned. Okay, so maybe that's not the fantasy, but it sure is hilarious. Tonight, Mr. David finds himself facing some bad luck on the golf course.

'Desperate Housewives' – Gaby gets her daughter expelled (Sun., 9PM, ABC)
'The Locator' – A woman's stepdad helps her look for her biological dad (Sat., 9PM, WE) season 3 finale
'Bored to Death' – Oliver Platt guest stars (Sun., 9:30PM, HBO)
'Mad Men' – Pete faces a big career decision (Sun., 10PM, AMC)
'Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew' – A rocker, a surfer and a porn star are among the rehabbers (Sun., 10PM, VH1) series premiere
