I will explain the Daily Show.
It was much funnier when it was just a silly comedy show with Craig Kilborn.
Then, Jon Stewart turned it into a smug pep rally for liberals. The NYC-DC smug liberal crowd, to be exact.
You mean as opposed to the hateful, mean-spirited pep rally for Republicans that is Fox News? Going by your logic, I don't see much difference.

Still we're missing the point, just like I said it with Bush, I'll say it about Obama, they don't decide what reporters should be reporting. The White House can not place demands on the press that they play only their game.
The Obama Administration is mad that other media beside Fox News took up Accorn and the Green Czar being a "truther." Too bad. Those stories were not lies. They were the actual truth.
They were good news stories for the national media. You can't have an organization who taking federal funding filled with that much corruption. You can't have an administration official believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy.
Those two stories were effective news stories that Fox News broke.
Does Fox News get it wrong alot. Yes, but so does a lot of cable news. CNN's story about the 9/11/09 attack turned out to be a Coast Guard training session. MSNBC took up the case that Palin's baby boy was really her daughters and she was playing like she was the mother.
Still, I say the White House should be able to deal with it. Stop being wussies. They don't decide what news should be covered. They put it out there and hopefully someone catches it.
Not an ounce of spin in this flippant reaction by Jon Stewart.
