Norm MacDonaldWriter Josh Heald is having a good week: The Hollywood Reporter reveals that he's landed not just one development deal, but two.

The first will be a multi-camera, half-hour comedy with NBC entitled 'Sausagefest,' starring Norm Macdonald. The show's premise is set around two twentysomething guys and their fathers; Macdonald plays a misogynistic divorced guy, and the other character is a widow. For Fox, Heald is developing another multi-camera comedy entitled 'Sequestered,' which is about 12 people serving jury duty who are forced to live together for the trial's duration -- sort of like 'Big Brother,' but replacing the forced drama with scripted comedy and some type of trial.

2010 is shaping up to be a busy year for Heald. His feature film 'Hot Tub Time Machine' is set to open on March 19 (starring John Cusack), and another entitled 'Max's Mardi Gras' will hit theaters next summer.

While we haven't seen any of the above, it still sounds like this sausagefest theme isn't just localized to his new show. Your move, Tucker Max.
