While wearing what barely qualifies as a dress, Mariah Carey has a shoe malfunction and trips on 'The Jay Leno Show' as she makes her way to the interview chair.

Carey later joked during the interview the stumble was choreographed in order to to make Leno nervous. And perhaps as a further way to distract Leno and the audience from her two left feet, Carey demonstrates the appropriate way to seductively apply perfume.
