I have new respect for The Biggest Loser's Tracey

The Biggest Loser - TraceyIf you haven't watched last night's Biggest Loser yet, stop reading right now. Ok? Ok.

I've never been a fan of Tracey's. I thought she was mean and stabbed plenty of backs on her journey through the emotional minefields of The Biggest Loser. And when it came down to whether Tracey or someone else would go home in last night's episode, I was rooting for Tracey.

"Send her home!" I yelled at the TV. "Make her pay for her crimes!" I was practically lighting my torches, hypothetically speaking.

But then ... after she went home and I saw her with her husband and children, I gained new respect for her. When you see someone at the ranch, that's pretty much all you see. You get little glimpses of their home life, but mostly, they're defined by who they are at the ranch, and there's usually plenty of drama and tears.

But then they go home, and you meet the "other" person, the one who lives day to day in the real world. In Tracey's case, you could see the love and warmth of her husband and kids. It made me think she must be a really great person to have these people supporting her and to have raised such lovely children.

For this reason, I take back all the bad feelings I had about Tracey during her time at the ranch. And wow, what a transformation! She looks fantastic, and more power to her as she moves forward in her life.

The word "No" is not spelled n-e-w ;)

While all of the other contestants worked to bring people to the first challenge, she spent her time trying to steal people from the other contestants. Her exit interview was full of the same self-deluded bla-bla BS that she pumped from day one.

I agree that her family was great, but the BL producers had to bring in extras for her homecoming because she didn't have 'friends' there to greet her. When she tells her kids "You have to finish what you start" it looks like a bad ending to an ABC After School Special.

Every time she opened her mouth, I kept thinking, "I'm so glad I'm not her co-worker or her neighbor." Every word was calculated, but she wasn't clever enough to appear genuine. In fact, that's the problem. It's not so much that she's a back stabber, it's that she was completely disingenuine.

Tracey is welcome to the title of "hated by millions". She deserves it. Good riddance.

She was crazy and played the game like an idiot but I was pleasantly surprised by her transformation at home.

But I disagree about the family stuff. The kiss with her husband was very awkward (did she turn her head so he didn't hit her lips?) and my wife and I tried to figure out if the baby was hers because she never seemed to hold it. Bad editing, maybe.

TRACY made choices-to play the game, stab and betray the people who were at the ranch doing the same thing she wanted to do LOSE THE "DEADLY"WEIGHT. She could have taken the high road and been a better person for it. She needed to take an example form ABBY. ABBY,what a beautiful person she is. TRACY may be a good person and have a loving family but her actions on the show made her ugly and for that I'm happy to see her gone.

Didn't hate her but that woman had crazy eyes.

Crazy eyes I tells ya.

I agree - I was expecting one of those at home updates where it looks like the person is about the same weight as when they left the ranch, because of all her complaining and whining. But she almost looks finale ready! She could be the at home winner.

I never hated her, she was playing the game. Some people get a free pass in that area and some people don't, it's weird.
