Carrie Prejean walks off Larry King Live ... wait, she doesn't!

Miss California USA, Carrie Prejean, has a new book out, and she was on Larry King Live last night to promote it. Larry asked her about the lawsuit she filed against the pageant, but she didn't want to talk about that and even told Larry he was being "inappropriate." She then talks to someone off-camera and it looks like she's about to walk off the set but then changes her mind (or her handlers changed it for her). She came back after the commercial and said she didn't want questions from viewers.

In her defense, the settlement was private, and that probably includes the reason why it was settled, not just the amount. But she just looks goofy taking off her mic and telling Larry that she can't hear him (even though she can clearly hear him because she answers him). The moral: either answer the questions or just leave the show.

I don't think he did anything wrong. If she had decent media training (which, oddly, she's probably had a lot), she would have said something generic about it being in the best interest of everyone to put it behind them, and she wants to focus on the future, including the book *plug*

Would have shut him up and plugged the book.

My guess is this was a stunt. CNN has crappy ratings, and now most everyone knows Carrie has a book out now.

MY THING IS WHY COME ON THE SHOW..SHE KNEW BEFORE HAND THAT THERE WOULD BE QUESTIONS ASKED BEFORE SHE CAME ON THE SHOW...GET A LIFE...AND WHO CARES ABOUT THE BOOK...AND IF YOU HAVE STUFF TO SPREAD TO YOUNG GIRLS LIKE NUDE THING KEEP IT TO YOURSELF..ITS ENOUGH OF THAT GOING ON AS IT IS.......

Does anyone believe that it was really a coincidence that a naughty tape of her came out 4 days before her book was released? She was barely known in the first place and most people had already forgotten her. The tape got her far more publicity than she otherwise would have had. I think she's a big hypocrite who had the provocative tape released to sell more books about how she's a moral upright girl who didn't win the bigger crown because of her religious views.

I can't stand Larry, but I don't really think he did anything wrong. In fact, the few clips I saw seemed to be one of his better interviews.

The best thing about all this is she has NO idea how she's coming across, so she continuously keeps doing hilarious things like this.

I love when she goes responds to his question with, "No, I can't hear you" LOL!! That's something you'd expect from a five year old..."Can you hear me?" "No, I can't hear you"

Aren't her 15 minutes up yet? When will she go join Joe the Plumber and get out of public sight? Shouldn't they be together somewhere, creating the Perfect No-Nothing Conservative Zealot? Wait--we already have one of those, and she can see Russia from her house.
