ABC is said to be looking at jiggle juggernaut 'Charlie's Angels' for a return to television.

Actually, it's not the first attempt at a network revival for the detectives. Some 20 years ago mega-producer Aaron Spelling announced "Angels '88' starring a Sarah Lawrence psych student turned actress named Tea Leoni (presumably playing "The Smart One"). That project sputtered, and the Angels were not heard from again until 2000's film trio of Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu.

Variety reports a heavenly lineup has been assembled behind the scenes: Barrymore, whose Flower Films production company helped get the movie Angels off the ground; producer Leonard Goldberg, who teamed with Spelling on the show's first run (1976 - 1981); and Josh Friedman, the writer and executive producer behind 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles'.

As a pilot order is not yet official, there's no word on casting. Hey, Eliza Dushku might be available. Just saying.
