Joel Gretsch achieved cult fan status during his stint on USA's 'The 4400,' but it's his role on ABC's new hit 'V' (Tuesdays, 8PM ET on ABC) that has everyone talking ... and not just because he's a pretty amazing actor.Gretsch plays Father Jack Landry, a priest who's having a crisis of faith due to the aliens who have invited themselves to our planet. And due to the fact that the woman he's fighting against the Visitors with is Elizabeth Mitchell. See? We're not the only ones who have a crush on her.
So what about the next two episodes of the show, the last in this first batch to air? "There is a thing ... that is so surprising and so compelling ... it's just a beautiful ending to this particular pod that has a great reveal," Gretsch promises. OK ... tell us more: "It was surprising -- it's not where you think it's gonna go."
Watch our full interview with Gretsch, straight from the set of 'V' in Vancouver -- including the adorable bit where I made him all self-conscious by smiling too much. Then check back for a new 'V' video interview every day until the next episode airs Tues., Nov. 17.
