by Bryan Enk, posted Nov 13th 2009 12:21PM
Movieweb reports that Kate Vernon will join the cast of 'Heroes,' at least for one episode. 'Heroes' cast member Greg Grunberg (who plays Matt Parkman) posted the following on his Twitter account: "Kate Vernon from BSG is now on Heroes -- can't wait for you guys to see her. The 5th!!"

Grunberg also posted a photo of Vernon with 'Heroes' cast member Robert Knepper, who plays Samuel, the leader of the mysterious traveling troupe known as the Carnival, prompting speculation that Vernon will play a member of the group. Then again, they may have just been hanging out on the set ... you never really know with 'Heroes.'

Kate Vernon is, of course, no stranger to science fiction, having played the resident Lady MacBeth figure, Ellen Tigh, the unfaithful wife of Colonel Saul Tigh -- and one of the Final Five Cylons -- on 'Battlestar Galactica.' Vernon has also made recent appearances on both 'Saving Grace' and 'The Mentalist.'
