ABC's 'FlashForward' is like '24' in that it's always unclear if a lead actor will be iced by the Grim Reaper.Series star John Cho says the show's uncertainty keeps him anxious, but that he enjoys the anxiety.
"It's definitely a unique scenario -- there are things that are exciting about it," Cho says of his character's ever-impending doom on 'FlashForward.'
"That part, not knowing, is always part of being an actor that I hate, not knowing what's up next year," Cho told Inside TV at Monday's 'Star Trek' DVD and Blu-Ray premiere party in Hollywood. "That's just a continuing thing ... This is since I don't know what's coming, it's forced me to act in the moment and accept the pages given to me. That's been interesting. I have liked it much more than I thought I would."

Cho, who is best known from the 'Harold & Kumar' and 'American Pie' movies, starred as Sulu in this year's 'Star Trek,' but there were not many similarities between 'Star Trek' and 'FlashForward,' Cho says.
"I guess 'FlashForward' doesn't compare to something like this in terms of big budgets, but it is comparably large, I would guess," Cho says. "'FlashForward' for me has been kind of an interesting acting experience, very unique. It's very personal -- it's a relationship with the partner and the wife. It seems to be the emotional through-line for that character. So it doesn't feel like a big production for me. In terms of business, I imagine there is kind of a sci-fi base. It doesn't jive with me because 'FlashForward' is not a sci-fi thing."
One feature Cho is considering is a third 'Harold & Kumar' movie, this one themed around Christmas. On the successes of 'Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle' and 'Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay,' Cho says he wants to make another sequel.
"I would like to do that," Cho told Inside TV. "We will see if the schedule gods smile upon us, and everything is good. It's good for laughs."
