Joshua Jackson Talks Gross Mysteries and Peter Not Falling for Olivia on 'Fringe' - VIDEO

by Maggie Furlong, posted Nov 19th 2009 6:00PM
Joshua Jackson, 'Fringe'According to 'Fringe' star Joshua Jackson, we haven't seen the grossest thing the show has to offer just yet. Exploding heads and old man babies are nothing -- just wait until you get a load of the nematodes, which Jackson admits "just made me want to vomit."

And that's not the only thing we have to look forward to with the rest of this season. There's also the big Observer episode (Thurs., Nov. 19, 9PM ET on Fox), which investigates the origins of the show's mysterious bald onlooker and his ilk, where Jackson promises "we come to know them well."

But, of course, the show isn't all just mysteries, gross-outs and creepy hairless men -- there's also the family-like relationship between Jackson's Peter Bishop, his father Walter Bishop (John Noble) and Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv).

So is Jackson surprised that fans are so vocal about not wanting to see Peter and Olivia together? "No ... If it goes in that direction -- if something naturally comes out of it -- then I'd be fine with that. But I just hate it when you just slam the characters together because they're 'supposed' to be together." We couldn't agree more.
