'Lost' fans wondering if they would be seeing more of Kiele Sanchez are in for a treat, as the actress will be returning to television as someone other than Nikki Fernandez.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sanchez has been tapped to co-star in 'Sugarloaf,' an upcoming pilot for A&E. The actress, who was most recently seen this summer in the big-screen thriller 'A Perfect Getaway', is best known for her role as Fernandez, who quickly became the target of fan ire during season three of 'Lost,' leading producers to abruptly kill off the character (you gotta please the viewers somehow).'Lost' fans wondering if they would be seeing more of Kiele Sanchez are in for a treat, as the actress will be returning to television as someone other than Nikki Fernandez.

Luckily for everyone involved, it sounds as though her new role as Callie, a nurse and single mom who takes a second job at a pizza place to put herself through medical school, will bear little resemblance to the annoyingly naggy Fernandez. 'Sugarloaf' follows the story of Callie's relationship with Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore), a big city cop who moves to a small town in Florida after being shot by his corrupt captain.

Also joining the cast is veteran film and TV actor Carlos Gomez ('House of Sand and Fog', 'The Replacement Killers'), who will play a medical examiner who befriends Jim and becomes his golfing buddy.

Golf, pizza, Florida sunshine and not a polar bear in sight. For both Sanchez and 'Lost' fans, that has to be a relief.
