'Chuck' fans, you're in luck.

After being omitted from NBC's fall lineup, the fan favorite action-comedy finally has a premiere date for its third season. According to NBC, two-back-to-back original episodes will air Sun., Jan. 10, starting at 8PM ET, making the premiere even more geektastic.

Then tune in the next night as 'Chuck'' assumes its regular time slot: Mondays at 8PM. 'Chuck' fans, you're in luck.

NBC is promising guest stars galore for Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) and the gang to spar with -- Angie Harmon ('Law & Order,') Brandon Routh ('Superman Returns'), Robert Patrick ('Terminator 2: Judgment Day'), Kristin Kreuk ('Smallville'), Armand Assante ('Judge Dredd') and pro wrestler Steve Austin are all on board.

In fact, on a recent set visit, AOL TV learned that Kreuk's character will be a possible new love interest for Chuck -- that is, if he can find the time after work at the Buy More and testing out his new kung fu skills -- with Routh's character, Shaw, acting as the team's new boss, who will also be wooing Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski).

'Chuck' will be the lead-in for 'Heroes', which will fill the 9PM ET slot on Mondays, starting Jan. 11. A special two-hour episode of "Heroes" will be broadcast Mon., Jan. 4 at 8PM ET, before it gets moved to its new time slot.
