Spoilers Anonymous: Desperate Housewives, NCIS, Smallville, and more!

by Isabelle Carreau, posted Nov 20th 2009 9:00PM

This is Spoilers Anonymous, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air. We'll never put spoilers up here on the main page in order to help the reformed stay unspoiled. If you have anything to add to the group, feel free to step up and let yourself be heard, either with our tips form or by emailing us at tvsquad at gmail dot com, or call and leave a message at (775) 640-8479. Your anonymity is guaranteed, if you wish to remain as such.

This week we have spoilers for: 90210, Desperate Housewives, Glee, Gossip Girl, House, NCIS, Parks and Recreation, Private Practice and Smallville. (SPOILERS FOLLOW!)

  • Someone's from Liam's past who has extreme influence on him will resurface and stir up trouble. [Source: TV Guide Magazine]
  • Jasper will eventually find out that Annie accidentally killed his uncle. Since he is deeply in love with Annie, Jasper will keep this news a secret. However, that doesn't mean Annie won't get caught. [Source: Korbi TV]

Desperate Housewives

  • As we told you in other Spoilers Anonymous posts, the show is planning an episode in which we will have a glimpse of the future. New details are now available as to what we can look forward in the flash-forward scenes. Susan will have put on a few pounds and prosthetics and a silver streaked wig will be used to age Gaby. As some of us predicted or wished, Katherine will end up in the loony bin. Here are a few more clues as to who will die in the December 6 episode: three characters will die, one minor, one central and one biggie who's been on since season one. Series creator Marc Cherry says that as for the longtime cast member dying, fans will be sad but it was time to end the character's storyline. [Source: Keck's Exclusives]

  • Finn will find out that he is not the father of Quinn's baby in the mid-season finale set to air on December 9. In the same episode, Mr. Schuester's pregnancy-faking wife will be found out. [Source: The Ausiello Files]

Gossip Girl
  • Rufus and Lily's relationship will hit a rough patch which will last until the end of the season when Serena's father sends a letter. Somehow the cryptic return of Bart Bass into the mix will not help. In other couple news, Dan and Vanessa will definitely be a couple as well as Nate and Serena. [Source: Watching with Kristin]

  • By the end of episode 14, Cuddy will be sharing her bed with two different people. [Source: The Ausiello Files]

  • The series' holiday episode, in which the team investigates a potential hate crime, will mark the return of Gibb's father, played by Ralph Waite. The Closer's Corey Reynolds and Murphy Brown's Joe Regalbuto will also appear as a reverend and a naval chaplain respectively. [Source: TV Guide Magazine]

Parks and Recreation
  • Will Arnett and Justin Theroux will both be introduced in the same episode, set to air in early 2010, as possible love interests for Leslie. [Source: The Ausiello Files]

Private Practice
  • The December 3 episode will introduce Addison's parents, to be played by JoBeth Williams and Stephen Collins. [Source: TV Guide's Mega Buzz]
  • Gilmore Girls' Melissa McCarthy will guest star in a January episode as a pregnant patient who gets help from Dell. [Source: The Ausiello Files]

  • The two-hour event made of the two episodes that were titled "Society" and "Legends" is now labelled as a movie and has received the title of "Smallville: Absolute Justice." Carlo Marks, who played Chloe's "what if" fiancé from season seven's "Apocalypse," was recast as... Chloe's next love interest! Marks will play a character named Steven Swift and whose alias is Warrior Angel. Brian Austin Green's Metallo will rise from the dead and resurface in episode 18. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • This special Smallville movie is supposed to be as good as some of the hero movies that had hit the theaters in the past years. The Justice Society characters, who won't be coming from the future as some rumors have claimed, will be introduced at time where there are a few growing pains amongst the current Smallville heroes club. They will teach the younger heroes about family and leadership. When we will meet up with the Society heroes, they will be an older generation of heroes who have been underground for a while. Some of the future Justice League characters will also appear in the episode and maybe in later episodes. [Source: TV Guide Magazine]

That is such a YAY! to read. It will be about time the show can begin to evolve into something slightly more realistic.
I haven't seen any comments anywhere that suggest the whole false pregnancy plot line was successful or entertaining. I will be so glad to see the back of that.

Melissa McCarthy! Yay! I would never, ever, ever watch Private Practice, but I'm excited that she's getting work.

Sorry Isabelle.

It was even part of the Hulu description of the episode.

Thanks for pointing it out. I haven't had time to watch the show last night yet so didn't know he was already introduced.
